Antique Heart Pine Table. This table is 48" round and has two leaves, extending the table to either 6 feet or 8 feet, see below. The table is finished with hand-rubbed Waterlox, the top is 1 1/4" thick, is very heavy and requires a 'leg' in the cener when fully open. The slides are wood and this table will last many lifetimes! This is one of two nitestands made to flank the very old pine bed. The nitestands are of Poplar and are dyed with analine dyes to match the bed and finished with hand-rubbed varnish. Photo by my clients in their home.
